“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or if we wait for some time.  We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”

–Barack Obama

I am running for the Georgia House of Representatives, District 175 because the people in my district and throughout the state need someone who will represent them, voice their concerns, and advocate for them regardless of their race/ethnicity, sex/gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, disability, or level of education.

I want to advocate for legislation and programs that safeguard our environment and resources in a way that creates better opportunities for our citizens, empower them, and help them thrive in health, finances, and education.

I asked myself, “Who will go for the people?”  As I sought God for the answer I found myself to be the only one standing.

I accepted the calling and my goal is to be a voice that advocates for legislation and programs that safeguard our environment and creates opportunities through which people can be supported and empowered.  I am the person for the people.

“Leading, educating, and empowering the people.”
